The Globe Hall ‘World’ Earth Centre mezzanine
Using a repurposed redundant barrier gate drive from Perkins Engines Security Gate 6 – Volunteers over a 6 year period created the solar powered world. The 'World' in the Globe hall Earth Centre was marked out and contoured by the Ball Family. Initially Gordon Ball joined us to complete his 'Duke of Edinburgh Award' and then his Mum, Dr Dorothy Ball, and finally his brother Simon joined the team to complete the project - Giving it a certain 'Wow' factor, I am sure you will agree? ..
